“Whom having not seen, ye love; in whom, though now ye see him not, yet believing, ye rejoice with joy unspeakable and full of glory:”
1 Peter 1:8
There is an unspeakable joy for a child of God that can be experienced every day, in the good times and the bad. When I look at my children, I have joy because I can see God’s handy work and His miracle blessings in my life. I have joy when I see where He has brought my husband in life and ministry. I have joy when I see how loving my church is to each person who comes through the door. I have joy in the privilege of witnessing what God is doing in others lives. There is joy in knowing that the same God that created all things and has control of all things, loves and cares for me. There is unspeakable joy in looking back on where He has brought me from and how much grace and mercy He has given me. You don’t have to look far to find something to have joy about. God has given us so much grace in the good and bad times of our lives, there should be no room for complaint when measured against the many blessings we each have been given.
