Patience is not a virtue that comes naturally to me. I have learned that God knows what we need and when we need it better than us. Anytime I try to step in to speed something up, I just cause more problems. It’s been so hard to look at our home that we’ve been planning for years just sit there and not be able to move in. I know through the waiting that God has been preparing our hearts and lives for this change. We have learned so much through the hard process of paring down “stuff” and realizing what we can live without. Once you get the right perspective about “stuff” you will realize you’re so much happier without it.
If you are wondering where we are with the move, here is our latest tiny update. We recently moved the house to its new location and we are waiting on permits to get everything hooked up. We are working on getting things situated on the inside and making final decisions on what can fit or not. We have lots of baby proofing to do since we have a very mobile toddler ready to explore. I will be sharing more pics as we get things settled. Thank you to all who have prayed and supported this change for our family.
“My brethren, count it all joy when ye fall into divers temptations, knowing this: that the trying of your faith worketh patience. But let patience have her perfect work, that ye may be perfect and entire, lacking nothing.” (James 1:2-4)
